Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (you), and Liz-Desir Travel Group LLC (we, us, our) for the use of our products/services. Read the terms & conditions before signing up and purchasing any trip package or other services. You agree that by accessing the Site and Services, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.

 

1. PRICING & PAYMENTS

​

Most payments made to Liz-Desir Travel Group LLC will be made through our secure website or through invoices sent by us via email in order for you to complete the purchase. Trip deposit will be submitted via our website upon sign up. Each trip package has a payment plan option made available to you to choose from and pay according to dates given on that specific trip package. If payments are not made before or on the date it is due, or at most 10 days, without prior notice, an additional $50 instead of the prior $25 charge through the site's late payment service (starting June 3, 2024). You may also risk losing your spot on the trip, without being refunded, if this occurs more than once, and if you fail to complete trip payment(s) without communicating prior to due date(s). Private Trip Consulting service payments must be paid in full prior to the start of the service. Liz-Desir Travel Group has the right to change pricing if and when necessary in order to complete and provide services. All trip packages inquire a transaction fee of 3% which will be applied to each trip payment, whether personalized or standard. Payment amount may be rounded to the nearest whole number. Starting April 5, 2024, any new trip thereafter will already include the 3% tax and transaction fee therefore there will be no additional charges upon making payments towards respective group trips, whether personalized or standard, unless stated otherwise. For Private Trip Consulting, a $5 transaction fee is charged for each service. You understand that all payments must be made through our website and acquire a transaction fee including all trip deposits which are both non-refundable and non-transferrable, unless stated otherwise or given another form of secure payment option such as an invoice, if necessary. To make payments online you can sign into your LDTG account to checkout faster and also have the ability to view prior trip payments through your LDTG account, specially the "wallet" tab. You can also complete trip payments via invoice either manually or automated.

2. BOOKING

​

When submitting a trip confirmation form after making trip deposit payment, you know for certain that you can travel on the date given and agree to pay for the package through time or in full, depending on your choice. You agree that all information you submit to us is in fact true and accurate. Your trip confirmation form will be verified by our company after you submit your deposit. If deemed ineligible or an error occurred, we will contact you and you will only then be entitled to a deposit refund. You understand that Liz-Desir Travel Group entrusts you to make your monthly payments, at the time it is required too, or earlier. Including any other information deemed necessary for the completion of services. By using our services, you understand and agree to our booking conditions and will only use our services if participating. Trip deposits are non-refunable and non-transferable, trip desposits are only transferrable if applicable (policy #9 , policy #10, and policy #11).

3. LATE SIGN-UP/FORM SUBMISSION

​

You have the right to sign up and submit a form even past the deadline if the trip package is still open and made available. You acknowledge that you will need to pay the trip deposit directly through our website upon signing up. Any other monthly payments due will be arranged and adjusted depending on the date of your submission by the personalized due date provided by us to make your payment(s). You understand that trip sign-ups can close prior to the trip date whether if there are spots remaining or not.

4. INCLUSIONS

​

All trip packages will state activities, excursions, specific meals, amenities, etc. included in each trip package which are tailored to its respective country. Inclusions are always subject to change depending on third-party vendor(s), proprietor, or our company.

 

5. EXCLUSIONS

 

All trip packages will state what is excluded. Including specific meals not mentioned in the inclusions. Airfare and its taxes and fees are not included. It is your responsibility to book the flight and get travel insurance for security.  Additionally, all personal expenses and personal gratuities are excluded.

 

6. ACCOMMODATION

 

While traveling with Liz-Desir Travel Group, you will usually be paired in a double or triple occupancy setting. We will be staying either in 4-star, 5-star hotels, boutique hotels, or villas. We oftentimes offer single occupancy unless stated otherwise in a trip package. Additionally, you will only be allowed into the property or your assigned room after check-in time and in most cases, when the host is present.

7. ROOM OCCUPANCY

​

Depending on the trip you choose to attend, and the availability to be placed in double or single occupancy, you will have the ability to choose (if the option is given). In some cases, if single occupancy is already full and you selected this option, you will be contacted by Liz-Desir Travel Group, placing you in double occupancy instead, the extra room charge will not be applied in this case. This policy and all other trip terms apply to COED trips as well. In the cases you join an available COED trip solo, you will be paired with someone of the same gender. If you have signed up and are joining a trip with someone of the same or opposite sex, you will automatically be paired together, unless requested otherwise. When placed with another individual, please be considerate and respectful. You understand that a double occupancy setting may either offer two separate beds, or one king-size for you and another individual.You will usually have the chance to get to know other attendees before the trip to feel more comfortable. Liz-Desir Travel Group is not liable for any disputes between you and other individuals throughout the trip, including with property staff.

8. CANCELLATION BY YOU + REFUND POLICY

​

Deposit will only be refunded to you if your trip form was not successfully verified by us if you've booked directly through our site, and deemed ineligible, or if an error has occured. For any other case, the deposit is non-refundable and *non-transferable, and for which will not become an LDTG Travel Credit (*deposit is only transferable if policy #9 occurs, or following policy #11). Trip payments (first to last payment made) are eligible for 50% refund if trip cancellation and refund has been requested no less than 60 days before the scheduled trip (minus deposit and charged taxes & fees, as we do not hold those fees). The remaining 50% will in turn become an LDTG Travel Credit. Trip Cancellation must be within reason, LDTG does not recommend you to sign up for a trip if you aren't certain. Any refund request made less than 60 days (0 - 59 days) before the scheduled group trip will not be accepted under any circumstances. No refund will be issued with cancellation within this timeframe, including LDTG Travel Credit. Kindly note that this refund policy applies to Pay-In-Full, 3-month, 6-month payment plan, and any other specialized payment plan, whether manual or automated. The trip deposit and all taxes and fees charged alongside each trip payment are non-refundable and non-transferrable. If you've failed to communicate with us in regard to refund request and missed payment deadline(s) without any form of communication for an extensive period of time (45 - 60 days). You will be removed from the trip and won't be eligible to receive a refund or LDTG Travel Credit. Refunds may take up to 30 business days to process and may be issued separately. Refunds may be issued to you via Zelle or PayPal upon request which can also take up to 30 business days and may be issued seperately, however this is not guaranteed, and subject to approval. Please note, if e-gift card has been used refer to policy #12 as e-gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable in this case.

LDTG highly advises, recommends, and encourage purchasing travel insurance with a CFAR (Cancel For Any Reason) coverage.

 

IF YOU TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 UP TO 14 DAYS PRIOR TO TRIP DATE, AND/ OR AFTER CONDUCTING COVID-19 PCR TEST, YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO TRANSFER CREDIT TO ANY OTHER TRIP PACKAGE OF YOUR CHOICE THAT IS STILL OPEN, OR A FUTURE TRIP SCHEDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR. WE WILL ASK YOU FOR A COPY OF YOUR COVID TEST RESULTS FOR VERIFICATION PURPOSES AND IT MUST BE PROVIDED BEFORE ANY ACTIONS TAKE PLACE, ALL INFORMATION SHALL REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL. HOWEVER, A REFUND OR PARTIAL REFUND MIGHT NOT BE AVAILABLE IN THIS CASE AND ANY TAXES AND FEES PROCESSED WILL NOT BE TRANSFERED OVER. DEPENDING ON ANY OTHER TRIP PACKAGE YOU SIGN UP FOR AFTER THE FACT, YOU WILL EITHER HAVE TO PAY THE DIFFERENCE, OR BE REFUNDED THE DIFFERENCE, MINUS ANY  TAXES AND FEES AS IT IS NONREFUNDABLE. IN THE CASES PARTIAL AMOUNT OF YOUR ORGINAL TRIP PACKAGE COULD NOT BE RETRIEVED DUE TO THE FACT THAT CERTAIN ACTIVITIES HAVE ALREADY BEEN BOOKED, WE WILL CONTACT YOU AT THE EARLIEST.

 

9. CANCELLATIONS BY US AND HOST COUNTRY

​

In the cases that for any reason, the trip is being cancelled by us and/or host country due to (but not limited to) unforeseen circumstances take place before the trip date, unmet minimum trip capacity (low sign-ups), or a national emergency in the country which was planned to travel too, a 50% refund will be issued for payments made after the deposit, if requested, minus any taxes and fees. Your deposit, and 50% of your trip payments, will in turn become your LDTG Travel Credit, for which can be applied to any future trip package of your choice, that is available for sign up and that you are eligibile for. LDTG Travel Credits expire 15 months after it is issued and therefore must be used before it expires. However, depending on the third-party vendors refund policies, terms & conditions, you may only receive a partial refund, excluding your LDTG Travel Credit, minus taxes and fees. Liz-Desir Travel Group is not liable for any monetary loss through the cancellation process of the trip. Therefore, it is also important to have your flight insured and book directly with the airline as well just in case. You may also choose to be part of another trip by applying your entire trip amount, for which your LDTG Credit will transfer over, minus taxes and fees, if available. If you choose this option, you may no longer receive nor request a refund. You may be granted the right to reserve your spot before sign-ups opens, and when trip package is available for booking, at the time. Taxes and fees, such as the transaction fee, including any specific taxes or other fees charged are non-refundable and nontranferable. This policy applies to all types of payment plans, such as 3-month, 6-month, pay-in-full, specialized, specified, or personalized payment plan options. Please note, if e-gift card has been used to complete any payment refer to policy #12 as e-gift cards are non-refundable, but the amount used (excluding taxes & fees) will be transferable in this case.

DO NOTE THAT THIS POLICY ALSO APPLIES TO ANY COVID-19 RELATED ISSUES. LIZ-DESIR TRAVEL GROUP WILL ALSO NOTIFY YOU 6 -12 WEEKS BEFORE TRIP DATE WITH ANY NECESSARY UPDATES CONCERNING COVID-19 & THE HOST COUNTRY WE'RE SCHEDULED TO TRAVEL TO.

10. TRAVEL CREDIT AND REFERRAL PROGRAM

Travel credit is issued when a trip has been canceled by you, or our company due to trip postponment, unmet minimum trip capacity, and any unforseen circumstances that interferes with the trip.

 

If the trip is canceled by you, 50% of trip payments initially made will automatically become a travel credit (excluding the deposit, taxes and fees). Your trip deposit will not be transfered over nor become an LDTG Travel Credit as mentioned in policy #8If the trip is canceled by us, for any reason, the initial trip deposit AND 50% of trip payments initially made (minus any taxes & fees) automatically becomes an LDTG Travel Credit in this case.

 

LDTG Travel Credit is non-refundable, any taxes and fees charged are non-transferable, unless stated otherwise. Your travel credit can be applied to any trip you're eligible for during the same year or following year, and expires 15 months after it is issued to you. Once you are ready to utilize the travel credit, you can email info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com to receive your special travel credit code that can be used for trip deposits, trip payments, rooming upgrades, and trip add-ons. Your LDTG Travel Credit must be used before it expires, which is typically 15 months after it is issued. Travel credit cannot be redeemed once it expires. LDTG Travel Credit is non-refundable once registered as a credit and the deposit is non-refundable in any case. If you fail to notify Liz-Desir Travel Group via text, email, or through your group page within 45 days of your trip cancellation/postponement, the entire amount will automatically become an LDTG Travel Credit, this includes your initial deposit and 100% of trip payments made, or specialized payment option originally used, and will expire 15 months thereafter. You understand that any taxes & fees originally paid is non-refunable and non-transferrable as we do not hold those fees. And the LDTG Travel Credit code can only be used towards group trip payments and deposit, it cannot be applied for any other service.

​

The Referral Program is available to all Liz-Desir Travel Group travel community members (TCMs). Refer a friend, family member, or companion to join a group trip with us, and earn $50 referral discount, per referral. You can refer an individual, or group to join the same group trip as you, any other available trips that are available for reservation. Once the person makes their deposit and have been verified, you will receive a referral discount code via email within 30 days for which can use toward any trip payment, or future trip until the given *expiration date.  In order to receive the discount, the person you refer(red) must state your name (first and last name) in the notes/question section upon  making their deposit for a group trip. Your name  (first and last name) can also be provided upon them filling the trip confirmation form as well. All referral discount codes expire within 15 months of the first referral code being issued. If the code is not used within the given timeframe, it will no longer be valid towards any group trip payment. The referral code is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. LDTG TCMs are eligible for the LDTG Referral Program and can receive a discount of up to $300 for making a maximum of six referrals within the same calendar year. You understand that in order to receive a referral discount code, the person you referred must have made their deposit for a group trip, and the individual must be verified and deemed eligible prior to issuing the code. If you weren't nor aren't an LDTG TCM prior to referring someone for an LDTG curated group trip, you won't receive a referral discount. Referral discount codes cannot be used for any other service besides LDTG group trips.

11. TRIP TRANSFER

You are eligible to transfer trips due to trip cancellation by us, unmet minimum trip capacity, or your preference changes.

 

If your initial trip is still scheduled and you wish to transfer to another trip, you are eligible to transfer to another trip >75 days before your original trip departure date. Trip transfer requests will require a $200.00 trip change fee to be completed in order for the trip transfer to take effect. The trip change fee is non-refundable, and non-transferable. If you would like to trasnfer to yet another trip, another trip change fee will have to be conducted. The trip change fee will be waived if trip transfer is conducted within 21 days of making the initial trip deposit payment. Any requests made between 60 - 74 days is subject to approval and will also result in a trip change fee of $200.00 upon approval which must be completed via our website or an issued invoice, and the trip change fee is non-refundable and non-transferable (one-time payment).

In the cases the trip was changed (meaning, trip date change), cancelled, or postponed by us, for any reason, including but not limited to unmet minimum trip capacity, you can transfer over to any active trip of your choosing within 45 days of being notified. If you fail to notify us within this timeframe, your trip deposit and 100% of trip payments made will automatically become an LDTG Travel Credit. This credit can then be used within 15 months once it is issued to you and refund request will be invalid. 

​

In the cases your group page is updated with current travel updates and the country is open for travel -- due to COVID travel updates and changes in restriction, you will have 45 days from the posted update to inform us of a trip transfer, if you choose to. 

 

You understand that it is your resposibility to let our company know of about a trip transfer as soon as possible to avoid any confusion or complications, if the trip has not been cancelled or postponed. If it has, then you will automatically have the option to transfer, at no additional cost (trip change fee waived/ non-applicable in this case.) Once your credit amount is transfered, it is no longer refundable. You understand that we are not liable for any monetary loss in this process and that taxes & fees are non-refundable nor transferable. You understand that you are limited to three trip transfers requests should this be made/ initiated by you, unless your trip transfer is within reason, or unless the trip has to be changed (meaning, trip date changes), cancelled, or postponed by LDTG due to unforseen circumstances or unmet minimum capacity.

​

Starting July 15, 2024, Travel Community Members can transfer from one trip to another if the initial trip, and request by you, is made no less than 75 days away from the time the trip is set to take place, by sucessfully completing the trip change fee payment of $200.00. The trip deposit, and trip payments (excluding taxes & fees is these are nontransferable) will be transferred to your new trip in this case.  Trip transfer requested within the approporate timeframe can be requested for any reason outside of unprecedented circumstances, including COVID-19. Trip transfer requested by you 60 - 74 days before the initial trip date, is subject to a trip change fee which must be completed via the our website, or issued invoice, and is subject to approval. Any request made thereafter (0 - 59 days before the scheduled trip) will not be approved.

12. E-GIFT CARD PURCHASE & USE 

​

a. Redemption & Use

  • E-gift cards can be used toward any eligible group or private trip offered by Liz-Desir Travel Group.

  • They can be applied to trip deposits, balances, or add-on experiences but cannot be redeemed for cash.

​

b. Expiration & Validity

  • E-gift cards expires 18 months after it's been issued/ purchase 

  • They are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased and used

 

c. Purchase & Delivery

  • Available in set denominations (from $25 (min.) to $2,000 (max.))

  • Delivered electronically via email with a unique code for redemption.

d. Refunds & Cancellations

  • E-gift cards are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash, and is non-transferable unless trip has been canceled or postponed by company for any reason

  • If a trip is canceled by the traveler, the standard cancellation policy applies, and amount used upon redeeming e-gift card is non-refundable and non-transferrable

  • If a trip is canceled by the company, the standard cancellation policy applies, and amount used upon redeeming e-gift card will be issued back to you (minus taxes & fees) via e-gift card or LDTG Travel Credit for future use

 

e. Lost or Stolen Cards

  • Lost or stolen e-gift cards cannot be replaced, so keep your digital code secure.

​

f. Gift Card Balance & Partial Use

  • If the total trip cost exceeds the gift card balance, the traveler must pay the remaining amount.

  • If the gift card balance exceeds the trip cost, the remaining balance can be used for future bookings.

 

g. Extension Policy

  • Gift cards expire after 18 months from the purchase date.

  • Extension is not permitted for any reason, unless by any reason of the company

 

h. Gift Card Transferability

  • E-gift cards can be transferred to another traveler but require written approval from the original purchaser beforehand.

  • E-gift card once used on a particular trip, may not be transferred over to another trip, unless the trip for which the traveler initially signed up for is getting canceled or postponed by the company

 

i. Multiple Gift Card Use

  • Customers can combine multiple gift cards for a single trip. However, they cannot be used alongside other promotional offers or discounts unless stated otherwise.

 

j. Use on Deposits, Trip Payments, Add-Ons and More!

  • Travelers can apply their gift card toward the trip deposit, trip payments, add-ons and more. E-gift cards can be used toward merchandise, travel add-ons, and upgrades (e.g., extra excursions etc.) in addition to general trip booking(s). Any additional costs beyond the gift card balance must be covered by the traveler at the time of purchase, and the standard cancellation policy still applies. Please keep in mind that if you choose to cancel, e-gift card amount is non-refundbale and nontransferrable.

k. Fraud Prevention

  • Liz-Desir Travel Group reserves the right to cancel any gift card suspected of fraudulent purchase or use.

 

l. Unused Balances & No Cash Back

  • Any remaining balance stays on the gift card for future use, but no cash refunds will be given for unused amounts.

 

13. CHANGES ON THE TRIP (FLEXIBILITY)

​

Depending on the weather or other circumstances, activities/excursions may be canceled or rescheduled by the third-party vendor or us. Therefore, the itinerary may not always be consistent. You, as the client understand that this may occur and no refunds will be processed due to cancellations or changes.

Liz-Desir Travel Group will find an alternative or provide another service during the trip to make the most of it. Also, any other changes such as amenities, and meals, can be altered by Liz-Desir Travel Group without prior notice.

13. INJURIES/INCIDENTS

 

If there's an injury or incident that occurs on the trip. Liz-Desir Travel Group is not liable. You must be able to pay the necessary medical funds in the country. It is your responsibility to carry and bring your own medication (allergy medicine, headache medicine, etc.) and MEDICAL DOCUMENTS, such as health insurance and COVID testing results if required in the host country by the time of the trip. As of July 3, 2023, our company no longer requires you to provide a copy of either a COVID-19 test before a trip. Liz-Desir Travel Group is not liable for any travel delays, loss, or damages. We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance. Liz-Desir Travel Group will usually ask you if you have a food allergy. We will try our best to avoid this problem while on the trip, however, we are not liable for any allergic reaction you may have on the trip. Please carry the right medication, documents, and tools (i.e, EpiPen) needed in case. You understand that you also will have to conduct your own research in regard to this and that no refund will be processed in this case. The right precautions and measures will be practiced on the trip to keep you and those around you safe, therefore social distancing may still be applied, including any other necessary products such as face-masks and hand sanitizer will be made available to you depending on the current circumstance and policies the host country had in place near the time of the trip. You understand that our company will do our best to avoid risks during the trip, however, you understand that we are not liable for any unforeseen circumstance concerning COVID-19 or any other incidents. Although our company will no longer require COVID testing, we will state in the respective trip package if testing is required to travel to a specific destination and we will email you if we require you to take a COVID-19 test prior to the trip start date. This is a mandatory action in order to keep you and those around you safe throughout the trip.

14. ELIGIBILITY

 

The minimum age requirement for most trip packages and services provided by Liz-Desir Travel Group is 20 years of age. Some may require a minimum age of 21 years old, for which you must agree and be eligible for sign-ups. You must be of age by the time of the trip, you can contact info@lizdesirtravelgroup.com for any questions. You may not sign up for a trip package if otherwise. Trip packages do not have an age limit, however, you must be able to do most or all of the physical activities included in the package to sign up for the trip. Please do not sign up if you know that you have an underlying condition or circumstance which may disable or hinder your participation. Schedule or consult your doctor/physician to analyze your eligibility. You must be healthy mentally and physically to take part in activities, excursions, and the trip in general.

15. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION

​

It is optional to participate in any activity during the trip. However, full payments still have to be made. There will also be free time on the trip for you to do things on your own or with others. Free time can also be utilized to stay in the accommodation and relax. You understand that your participation in planned or unplanned activities is completely voluntary and you are liable for any injury or incident while participating as a group, with us, or individually. Including, the assumption of risk while participating.

16. CAPACITY

​

For all trip packages, there is a given capacity. Liz-Desir Travel Group has the right to deny your sign-up if already full or signed up prior to the opening date (if given). You will be placed on the waitlist if you choose to be on it, there's a chance that a spot may be available to you before the departure date.

Liz-Desir Travel Group has the right to turn off sign-ups and advertise that the package is sold out when full. All trips are planned as a small group trip with limited capacity. If capacity changes, you will be informed through our site or via email. Although there's a capacity, the trip does not have to be full and sign-ups can close weeks prior to the trip date if we choose to. Our capacity for each trip is kept between 6 - 10 people. If a trip does not reach a minimum capacity, which is generally about half or more than half of the maximum capacity, the trip may be cancelled or postponed and is subject to follow the same cancellation and refund policies (policy #9). In these cases we are not liable for any monetary loss or circumstances due to no fault of our own.

17. CONSIDERATION

​

While on the trip you must be respectful to your peers and be considerate of others. Liz-Desir Travel Group has the right to exclude anyone who is inconsiderate and intoxicated which affects the group negatively and affects the trip/itinerary. You must also be considerate of the country's culture, and transition. Therefore, any disrespect or negative comments will not be accepted or tolerated on the trip.

18. ITINERARY

​

The in-detail itinerary for the trip package will be sent to you in a form of a document via email

2-5 weeks before departure. You may not share this detailed itinerary on social media, except for your emergency contact (family or friend). You must not advertise the in-detail itinerary on social media or any other platform.

​

19. EMERGENCY CONTACT

​

You must have an emergency contact in case of an incident or circumstance. The same emergency contact you provide the airline should be the same for the trip. You must provide their information to Liz-Desir Travel Group before travel. Liz-Desir Travel Group owner, director, and employees are not liable for any injury, loss, sickness, or death while on the trip and cannot be sued for such circumstances.

20. PASSPORT AND VISA

 

You must obtain the necessary documents before the trip occurs. Liz-Desir Travel Group will usually notify in each trip package if you need a visa or not, however, conduct your own search as well. Trip packages and purchases are only available to those who are citizens or residents of the United States and Canada. However, if you obtain other documentation, you are responsible for conducting research concerning what you may need. If you are a resident of the United States or Canada, make sure to notify us and make research to see if you may need a visa. Make sure all important documentation, such as your passport, is not or will not expire throughout the duration of your trip. We are not liable for any confusion concerning important documentation, nor loss.

21. AIRFLIGHT/TRANSPORTATION

​

It is your responsibility to purchase your flight ticket to the right airport and date. If you choose to arrive a day before the given date, you must accommodate yourself and pay all expenses. This also applies if you decide to leave the day after. Airport pick-up and drop-off are included in each package, it is your responsibility to let Liz-Desir Travel Group know what time you'll be arriving, as well as the gate/terminal so that your transportation is there promptly. When arriving at the airport, it is your responsibility to find your way to the driver. Usually, there will be a sign either with the driver's name, company name, accommodation name, or our business' name. Liz-Desir Travel Group will make sure to let you know how to find the right driver and where to make it easier. We are not liable for any confusion or mistakes made on your part regarding airport pick-up. You may be picked up along with another individual(s) who are also attending the trip. Do understand that your pick-up time will reflect and be chosen upon the set check-in time at the property, including check-out time for drop-off at the airport. Transportation to scheduled group activities and outings (unless it is within walking distance) is included, either private uber, excursion transportation, specified transportation company, or private driver will be utilized as a means of transportation.

22. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

​

You acknowledge that anything can happen while on the trip and you are responsible for any last-minute changes or expenses. You understand that injuries or accidents may occur and that there may not be an available medical resource or hospital. Liz-Desir Travel Group is not liable for any circumstances occurring on the trip, whether while participating in activities, excursions, while at the property, or any other location. It is your responsibility to obtain travel insurance and the right flight to the exact destination given to you on the trip packages. You are also required to obtain the proper documentation and vaccination(s) required to enter the host country while on the trip. In regard to vaccination(s) against the COVID-19 virus, we will not force nor require you to take the vaccine in order to travel with us. You are responsible for conducting your own research in regard to requirements before travel. We highly recommend that you get travel insurance. You understand that you are responsible and liable for any loss of property, or baggage when on the trip. If you end up testing positive for COVID-19 during or after the trip or get sick during the trip, Liz-Desir Travel Group is not liable and are responsible for any related funds in this case. The right precautions and measures will be practiced on the trip to keep you and those around you safe, therefore social distancing may still be applied, including any other necessary products such as face-masks and hand sanitizer will be made available to you depending on the current circumstance and policies the host country has in place near the time of the trip. Our company will do our best to avoid risks during the trip, including the possibility of requiring you to conduct a test prior to trip date depending on home and host country conditions, however, you understand that we are not liable for any unforeseen circumstance concerning COVID-19 or any other incidents before, during, and after set trip dates. Liz-Desir Travel Group will keep you updated before the trip with any necessary updates or changes made in the host country due to COVID-19, you will be notified 6-12 weeks prior to the trip departure date if trip changes or unprecedented circumstances, beyond our control, occurs. You understand that as of June 12th, 2022 the CDC no longer requires

COVID testing in order to travel to the United States.  You understand that if you choose to get tested at home or abroad, it may require you to pay out-of-pocket.

We are not responsible for any difficulties or issues you might endure when using the third-party link. We are also not liable for any damages of goods, services, or any other resource purchased from their site. You must make complaints, claims, and ask questions to the third-party site.

24. SEVERABILITY

In the event that any provision of these Terms of Trip is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms of Service, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions.

25. PRIVACY POLICY

All personal information submitted by you to us will be used to provide trip services or other booked services. Click here to review our company's privacy policy more in-depth. Upon becoming a member by signing up, you must not share private group details or personal information outside of our site as it is a violation of privacy. Your personal information, including login details, will remain confidential.

26. PRIVATE TRIP CONSULTING 

​

Liz-Desir Travel Group offers private trip consulting services for indivduals travelling with their own group or on their own. There are four service packages available: Accommodation, Activities & Excursions, The Time-Saver, and the Itinerary Builder. In order to book these services, you must be a minimum age of 18 years old. Although the turnaround time is displayed on the Private Trip Consulting page, it can vary and take longer than expected based on the number of inquiries.  All Private Trip Consultation Services are only for international destinations. Inquiries for domestic destinations will not be accepted and a refund will be processed in this case. Once the Private Trip Consulting service is completed, you will essentially receive access to a personalized document with details and information based on the trip package you've purchased.

We highly encourage you to research and review any COVID entry and travel requirements for your desired destination: testing requirement, vaccine requirement, and other components prior to booking any of the private trip consulting services. We are not liable for any incidents prior to or while abroad due to lack of conducting this search before paying for any of the Private Trip Consulting services. All Private Trip Consulting services must be booked no less than 45 days prior to your first trip date. The itinerary builder package payment and request must be submitted no less than 45 days prior to your first trip date. We have the right to decline service fulfillment and issue a refund for this service if requested less than 45 days before your trip. If Liz-Desir Travel Group accepts your "last minute" service request, you may be subject to pay an additional $35 fee via an emailed invoice or through our website. Any of the services can be booked although you may not have a definitive date, however, you must know your desired country and city. If you are travelling the same month as you are seeking any of of the private services, or less than 45 days of the Private Trip Consulting booking date, your request may be denied or result in an additional fee. LDTG Travel Credit and referral code can be used toward any of the services.

Liz-Desir Travel Group is unavailable and unable to provide Private trip consulting services during the months of December and January. Therefore we recommend filling the payment form for any of the private services well in advance. Additionally, you are responsible for booking your flight, travel insurance, travel documentation (i.e. visa), vaccination requirement, and anything else not included in your chosen private trip service package. You can use your optional consultation call for guidance in regard to these elements stated to help in the planning process. If you are travelling with a group of more than 10 people, an additional fee will be requested for any services booked if we choose to fufill the request. You understand that by booking this services, we reserve the right to decline your service request and issue a refund. We will not issue a refund for any other cases outside of this. Once the payment is made for any chosen service, you can only request a refund within 24 hours of booking any PTC service. Refunds request after this time period for any circumstance will not accepted unless you are deemed ineligible or we are unable to fufill the service. You udnerdstand and agree that refunds may be issued excluding the charged taxes and fees as we do not hold those fees. CONTENT SHARED ON THE PERSONALIZED DOCUMENT SENT TO YOU WITH REQUESTED DETAILS ARE THE SOLE COPYRIGHT OF LIZ-DESIR TRAVEL GROUP. CONTENT AND DETAILS SHARED WITHIN THE DOCUMENT CANNOT BE COPIED, SHARED, OR REPRODUCED BY OR TO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL OR THIRD-PARTY. THE DOCUMENT CANT BE SHARED OR ACCESSED BY ANYONE WHO IS NOT THE POINT PERSON OR THE PERSON WHO INITIALLY BOOKED THE SERVICE.​​​​​​

27. USE OF IMAGES, VIDEOS WAIVER

​

Liz-Desir Travel Group has the right to utilize your images and videos from the group trips and private trips, or prior to the trip, for the business' website, or social media platform. We have the right to use these for marketing and promotional reasoning without asking your permission or compensation.

28. TERMINATION

​

Liz-Desir Travel Group has the right to terminate or refuse submission of services for any lawful reason, under our sole discretion.

29. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS

​

We reserve the right to change, modify, or remove the contents of the services and trip packages at any time or for any reason at our sole discretion without notice. We also reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or part of the Site without notice at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the services offered.  

We cannot guarantee the Site will be available at all times.

30. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

The failure of us to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

These Terms of Service and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this site or in respect to The Service constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and us (including, but not limited to, any prior versions of the Terms of Service). Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms of Service shall not be construed against the drafting party.

 

31.LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

 

IN NO EVENT WILL OUR DIRECTORS, OR EMPLOYEES BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY SITE USED IN SEVERAL OF OUR SERVICES  FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, OR ANY OTHER SORT OF DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DOCUMENTATION OR PROPERTY WHILE ABROAD, PRIOR, OR AFTERWARDS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES BEFORE AND WHILE ON TRIP.

32. INDEMNIFICATION

 

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless, including our subsidiaries, affiliates, and all of our respective directors, and employees, from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand made by any third-party, whether via the site, or while aboard.

33. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS, TRANSACTIONS, AND SIGNATURES

 

You agree to all use of electronic communication, monetary transactions, and digital signatures. Invoices, information, updates, and forms will either be available to you through the site or sent to you via email. Which you agree to receive. YOU AGREE TO RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES, CALLS, INVOICES, TRANSACTIONS ELECTRONICALLY, MAKE RESPECTIVE PAYMENTS ONLINE. We have the right to contact you via our business phone number to reach you concerning any upcoming payments, reminders, and any other form of communication that must be sent to you. It is your responsibility to acknowledge those messages and take the appropriate actions needed. You hereby waive any rights or requirements under any statutes, regulations, rules, ordinances, or other laws in any jurisdiction which require an original signature or delivery or retention of non-electronic records, or to payments or the granting of credits by any means other than electronic means.

34. COMPLAINTS

​

If you have any complaints from while on the trip, you have 30 days to send a letter to Liz-Desir Travel Group. At the email address or mailing addressed stated in policy #37.

35. CORRECTIONS

 

There may be information on the LDTG Site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or descriptions, including pricing, availability, and various other information. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update the information on the LDTG Site at any given time, without prior notice.

36. DISCLAIMER

BY PARTICIPATING AND USING OUR SERVICES YOU UNDERSTAND, ACCEPT, AND AGREE TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. YOU HAVE READ LIZ-DESIR TRAVEL GROUP TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE USING SERVICES AND BEFORE TRAVEL. THESE RULES APPLY TO ALL SERVICES.
